2024 has seen the number of displaced people worldwide hit over 100 million, due to Conflicts in regions like Ukriane, Syria, Afghanistan, and sub-Saharan Africa. The UNHRC will convene to focus on the impacts of this high level of displacement, evaluating the roles of geopolitical instability, economic hardships, and environmental factoers. Delegatesd will be tasked with reevaluatin current international responses, rethinking the appllication of past UN resolutions, and formulating innovative strategies to improve refugee protection and and integrate concepts such as fair resettlement programs and climate change into broader refugee policies. The UNHRC shall seek to build a stronger, more cooperative international framework that effectively addresses one of the most pressing humanitarian crises of our time.
